Andre Villas-Boas remains confident of keeping his job at Chelsea despite their recent poor form and insists he has no issues with the club's owner Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea have picked up just 12 points from their last ten Premier League games but the Portuguese coach maintains he has the backing from the club's hierarchy, despite growing pressure to deliver a trophy this term.

Following Chelsea's 2-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday, Abramovich addressed Villas-Boas and the club's players over their performance and has also monitored the work of the 34-year-old in person on the club's training ground.

"I am completely happy [with Abramovich]. I have no problem with him at all," Villas-Boas said.

"It is a relationship that is perfect at the moment. We have discussed how we can correct what's going wrong.

"I don't feel I am under pressure for my job, although I know I am under pressure for results."

Villas-Boas admits more players from the squad are likely to move on this summer following the departures of Alex and Nicolas Anelka last month.

"My authority is total because it's the owner's authority. I have told you that we set out this team to try to win four trophies, believing in this team," he said.

"Next year it's another one because there are different ongoing situations regarding contracts which will have to be addressed so that means different changes.

"Two players have already departed and further will depart in the future and won't make part of the project, which more or less they expect but this is the reality of any football team.

"We prepare to be more competent in the present and we have to prepare the future as well."

Rumours of dressing room disharmony have dogged Chelsea throughout this season and Villas-Boas had admitted this week that he did not need the support of all his players to remain Chelsea manager.

But the former Porto boss hoped that his squad want to improve on their recent performances, if nothing else for themselves.
