This gruesome murdered body delivery took place in Osaka, Japan, where 29-year-old nurse Rika Okada (岡田里香) disappeared from her apartment approximately two months ago and her body later turned up in a storage facility in Tokyo.
Okada worked for a hospital in Osaka and lived alone in an apartment. She was last seen in late March. After losing contact with her daughter for a long time, Okada's mother went for a visit in early May but only found blood stains on both the tatami floor covering along with a large amount under the bed. She soon called the police.
According to the investigation, on March 24, a 2-meter long parcel weighing 50kg was transported from Okada's apartment. The package labeled the contents as being a large doll, with the victim's name written both as the sender and receiver.
The parcel was then transported to a Brazilian woman's residence in Hachioji, a suburb outside Tokyo, and the victim's body was later found by police at a storage facility which was a few hundred yards from Brazilian woman's place and rented under the victim's name.
The police said Okada's passport and credit card were stolen by the Brazilian woman, who was also the victim's schoolmate at elementary school. The woman later flew from Tokyo's Haneda airport to Shanghai, China with her Chinese roommate on May 3 using the victims passport.
The delivery company said the body had been placed in the storage place for almost a month.
Before she went missing, Okada made a posting on facebook noting how she was going to meet with an old friend she hadn't seen in 10 years.
According to police, Okada's family tried to reach her via phone, but were unsuccessful, as her phone was switched off. They managed to receive some replies via email, but some of them were sent from China. Police that the Brazilian woman is highly related to the murder case.
