Konrad Bass, who describes himself as a "rogue elven assassin," decided to start jousting a Bimmer he mistook for the ultimate bad guy in J.R.R. Tolkien's universe, Melkor, in the middle of a southeast Portland intersection.
Apparently Konrad has been taking LSD and fighting evil as a cosplaying elf for a long time, and this day was like any other. He was minding his own business when a car suddenly turned into Melkor.
Our hero did what he always does in these cases — try to kill the evil bastard. The only problem was the evil bastard was actually a late model BMW. As you probably guessed, the driver of the car was both shocked and furious and called 911.
Police arrived minutes later to stop the duel between the Bass and his psychedelically enhanced imagination. He was transported to the hospital, then I'm sure will be transferred to the Multnomah County dungeon, er, jail.
