Lawsuit against police: Jessica Klyzek's surveillance footage of alleged abuse

Video from salon security camera shows Chicago police striking Jessica Klyzek and uttering racially charged comments at her during a raid of the salon last July.
Chicago Police believed the Copper Tan and Spa, on North Milwaukee Street, to be offering extra services beyond tanning and massage. Officer Frank Messina is accused of putting his hand over Klyzek's mouth and nose, cutting off her ability to breath, the lawsuit read.
While Klyzek was handcuffed, sitting on the floor, the officer struck her head and falsely accused her of being an illegal immigrant followed by a torrent of threats.
"You're not f------ American," the officer yelled at Klyzek. "I'll put you in a UPS box and send you back to wherever the f*** you came from."
"I'm a citizen, OK?" Klyzek said.
"No you're not! No, you're not a citizen! No, you're not! No, you're not! You're here on our borrowed time," the officer said. "So mind your f------ business before I shut this whole f------ place down. And I'll take this place and then whoever owns it will f------ kill you because they don't care about you, OK? I'll take this building. You'll be dead and your family will be dead."
Klyzek filed a lawsuit against the Chicago police on Wednesday. Her attorney released the surveillance footage to strengthen the case.
Klyzek was twice accused of aggravated battery for biting and hitting the officers, but the charges were dropped after the judge saw the surveillance video.
