Prince Harry commemorates WWII soldiers at Montecassino

STORY: Britain's Prince Harry laid a wreath for the war dead at the Commonwealth Cemetery of Cassino on Monday in the final commemoration ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the battles.
The prince walked solemnly between the graves of fallen personnel after laying a wreath of poppies at the foot of the memorial at the cemetery.
"I've got a lot of friends here, I found a whole row of them over there," said a British veteran, Albert Darlington.
"I have been back four times now but this will be the last time" he said.
The battle was one of the bloodiest of World War II, and was waged over the ancient monastery for four months. Victory was decided on the May 18, 1944 when Allied bombers reduced Monte Cassino to rubble.
The Allies are thought to have sustained 55,000 casualties during the struggle to push German troops from the crest of the towering hill some 130 kilometers (85 miles) south of Rome.
