A 28-year old asylum seeker from Kosovo forced a Lufthansa flight heading to Budapest to turn back to Munich on Tuesday after he threatened a stewardess with a broken razor blade.

The man reportedly did not want to be sent back to Hungary, where he is seeking asylum, according to GMA News.

The incident took place shortly after the plane left Munich, forcing the pilot to turn around and head back to Munich, the Local reported.

After landing, the 82 passengers on board and some crew members were safely evacuated, while the pilots and the 50-year-old stewardess remained on board.

With the help of an interpreter, they talked the man into giving himself up. He was later arrested by police and offered no resistance.

Three stewardess suffered slight injuries, with one of them reportedly sustaining marks to her neck.
