Family Rescued From Sinking Sailboat After Failed Attempt to Cross Pacific

Eric and Charlotte Kaufman decided to cross the Pacific Ocean in a 36-ft sailboat with their two young daughters. They were 2 weeks into their cruise when the boat was disabled and their 1 year old was very ill. The family was rescued and are expected to reach San Diego mid-week.
