Robotic Assembly of submersible pump

The robotic automation of submersible pump assembly utilizes a FANUC M710iC Robot Manipulator to assemble the various components of submersible pumps. A custom engineered electro-pneumatic gripper and an economical vision system aid the robot in assembling the pump in only 8 minutes, as opposed to the manual assembly time of 16 minutes.
