Tight security before President Obama's visit to Rome

That's where U.S. President Obama will be staying later this evening. And security in the area is tightening by the hour.

He's meeting with Pope Francis for the first time at the Vatican on Thursday.

Despite their differences on some moral issues, the two are allies on issues of poverty and social justice.

The ongoing debate about Russia's involvement in Crimea is certain to take center stage.

And right wing groups are voicing their discontent. They've placed posters along major roads in Rome, reading, "Rome supports Putin. Obama is an unwelcome guest."

Obama will leave Italy on Friday morning and head to Saudi Arabia.
