For countering energy crisis, a unique initiative was taken and the barren greenbelt area which was occupied by drug addicted people was adopted with the facilitation of MNA (Rehan Hashmi) on BOT basis as per the legal agreement with the relevant concerned authorities. Not only to beautify the barren and haunted greenbelt, but also to lightify the adjacent pedestrian bridge and the greenbelt a unique theme of producing alternate energy and to fulfill the energy need of the greenbelt & pedestrian bridge & to educate the youth of the city about alternate energy & green energy concepts.
