This video is the first part of a series on the exploration of using a 'middle' or mixed' voice to sing high notes. This first part will discuss the different registers (chest, middle, head/falsetto) and explain the function of the larynx and the tilting of the thyroid cartilage by the use of an example. The next video in the series will have some exercises for you to help develop the necessary muscles to sing high notes easily and more freely.

Please watch the next video to learn how to sing high notes and improve your rock singing techniques.
