Chinese families threaten to sue Malaysian govt over disappearance of airliner

In Beijing, families of the mostly Chinese passengers on board the missing plane have been voicing their grief and anger.
The relatives met in a central hotel hoping for more information.
Some talk about taking legal action; others about the pain of not knowing.
One woman said: “I want to talk to the President. What’s more important than the lives of more than 200 people? My husband was on that plane, my children are asking for their dad. What can I do? We really are helpless, we need the government to support us.”
One man said: “We’re going to collect all of the legal elements, We’re definitely going to sue them. This is really bad. We are not suing Malaysia Airlines, but the Malaysian government.”
And the mother of a 22-year-old student on the plane said: “I cannot accept this. I can only pray to God for him. I know everyone is very sad.”
It is reported Malaysia Airlines has agreed to hand out the equivalent of 3,500 euros for the current daily expenses of each family and give them regular updates.
