It is certainly true that Christ Himself must be the object of our faith (Acts 16:31), but Paul makes it abundantly clear that we must believe something ABOUT Christ in order to be saved. That is, faith in Christ includes believing correctly about His PERSON and His WORK. And to believe means: that upon which a man or woman is prepared to act.
