Prize Fighting Championship returns to GFL.tv on February 7 with "Paramount", a 12-bout card headlined by a title fight from the Paramount Theater in Denver, Colorado. PFC is a Colorado based promotion but will be expanding in 2014 as it looks to become the premier MMA organization in the West.

In the main event, it will be Champion versus Champion as Jarred Mercado (10-1) from Elevation Fight Team battles Josh Huber (11-6) from The Kompound. Mercado is a reigning PFC Champion and looks to add another notch in his belt at the expense of Huber. Mercado is an aggressive wrestler who likes to grind his opponents down over the course of a whole fight, but he has also shown an ability to end his fights with submissions. Mercado is well-rounded in all aspects of MMA. Huber also holds a belt in PFC making him a Champion with the highly touted organization. Huber is on a 3-fight winning streak and finished off is last opponent inside of one round via TKO. Look for these two Champions to clash right away with each man looking to get his pound of flesh in the early going.

In the co-main event, in a welterweight pro battle Josh Cavan (7-3) from Team Wildman takes on Brian Camozzi (2-1) from Factory X. Cavan is a submission wizard with 5 of his wins coming via tapout. He will look to get Camozzi to the mat where he can let his grappling take over. Camozzi is a heavy puncher and can end the fight with one combo. Look for Camozzi to make this a dog fight and try and keep the fight standing where he can throw punches in bunches.

In a featherweight pro showdown, UFC and WEC vet Tyler Toner (9-6) from Elevation Fight Team fights former IFL Champion Ryan Schultz (23-13-1) from Trials MMA. Toner is looking at getting back to the big show and he will have to go through the durable Schultz if he is going to make that goal a reality. Toner possess an all-around MMA game and is especially dangerous when he hurts his opponent as he follows up with strikes and looks to finish them off. Schultz was one of the top lightweights in the world back in 2007-2008 and has looked to revitalize his career at featherweight. An impressive win over the grizzled vet Toner will once again get people talking about Schultz and put him at the head of the pack in the 145 lb division.
