THATTA: Bodies of five people that were recovered from a shrine of Noori Jam Tamachi located in the middle of Keenjhar lake, have been sent to Karachi after post mortem, SAMAA reported Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Jahangir Akhtar, a serving major in Pakistan Army, Captain (rted.) Bilal Ayub, Muhammed Ali, Adnan Saeed and Sohail Ahmed.
According to Civil Surgeon Aziz Tarani, the post mortem of the five bodies were conducted at Civil Hospital Makli; afterwards, they were dispatched to Karachi.
Dr. Aziz Tarani further said four of the deceased were shot in the head, while the fifth one died of a gunshot in his chest, adding the post mortem report will be issued after three days.
According to police sources, three fishermen have been arrested and investigation into the killings has been commenced. Police said a pistol was found from the shrine
