Aid arrives in Central African Republic

STORY: With World Food Program cereal stocks close to being depleted, an aid convoy finally arrived to help replenish supplies in Bangui on Monday afternoon.
The trucks had been stranded at the Cameroon border for three weeks before making it to the Central African Republic capital.
Almost one million people, or a quarter of the country's population, have been displaced by fighting that began when the mainly Muslim Seleka rebels seized power in the majority Christian former French colony last March.
On Monday the United Nations' top human rights official said the world must step in to save lives in Central African Republic as the nation's Muslim minority is faced with an increasing wave of violence.
According to the WFP, 2.6 million people in 86 communities around the country, including Bangui and Bossangoa, are in need of humanitarian assistance.
