The nominees for the BRITs 2014 are unveiled

A selection of Britain's hottest music talent gathered on Thursday January 10th for the announcement of the BRIT Award nominations.
Alternative rock band Bastille led the field picking up four nominations.
Matched only by electronic duo Disclosure.
Drum and bass collective, Rudimental, who performed at the event and who will also be performing at the awards ceremony itself received three nods.
Newcomer Sam Smith was already a winner, having received the BRITs Critics Choice award, getting the first of the Philip Treacy designed light up figurines.
