Stevie informs Stuart that the drug deal she took part in was, in fact, a set up, which was why she went on the run with Rob. She informs Stuart that prior to his suspension, she informed Jo that Rutherford was part of the Thamesside crew, and thus, Jack and Neil only suspended him so that her cover wasn't blown. Stuart manages to arrest Rutherford, and Stevie decides to follow her career - and not her heart.
