MEDIAWATCH - Self-immolations continue, three years after Tunisian revolution

Self-immolation is a form of protest more often associated with Tibetan monks than with the West. In 2010, the Tunisian revolution was set off by a man called Mohamed Bouazizi who set himself alight in the town of Sidi Bouzid, thus setting off a chain reaction that led to Ben Ali's ouster and the wider Arab Spring. However, self-immolation is also more common than you would think in France, as an innovative web-documentary for Le Monde and France Télévision's website shows.
