In the company’s newest efforts to prove how accurate their Dynamic Steering system technology is, Volvo recruited Jean-Claude Van Damme for an amazing stunt.

Standing on a construction vehicle held up by a crane and perched over a harbor to depict strength…check. These have been some of the recent publicity stunts for Volvo Trucks.

In the company’s newest efforts to prove how great their Dynamic Steering system technology is, Volvo recruited Jean-Claude Van Damme for a yet another stunt.

A landing strip in Spain was the location of the performance. Volvo filmed the stunt. Van Damme can be seen standing between two trucks.

A close up shot of the actor shows his face and the top of the trucks but as the camera angle widens, Van Damme is clearly featured standing with one foot resting on top of two truck mirrors.

The vehicles cruised backwards on the runway at the same speed and in the same direction however as time goes by, the large big rigs, both of which carry trailers, separate further apart.

Van Damme, who stood in the middle of them is forced to widen his legs. In the end, he is left doing an unbelievable, stomach churning split that looks incredibly painful.

Volvo authorities assured everyone that the stunt was entirely real.
