Groom Mistakenly Leaves Wife Behind at Gas Station, Returns Hours Later

A newly married couple had been heading back home after their honeymoon. They had stopped at a gas station, but when it was time to get back on the road, the husband abruptly took off, leaving his wife behind for over 2 hours before retuning.

One German woman is left scratching her head after just marrying her dream man.The couple had been heading back home after their honeymoon. They had pulled off the expressway to stop at a gas station in the German town of Bad Hersfeld. However when it was time to get back on the road, the husband abruptly took off, leaving his wife behind at the gas station.
He finally noticed she wasn’t in the vehicle about 2.5 hours later. When the husband, who had been driving the van, stopped to fuel up, the wife had been taking a nap in the back seat.
As the male got out and focused on the task of gassing up, the wife woke up, unbeknownst to her hubby, and left the van to use the bathroom. He drove off before she returned, initially unaware that she wasn’t still snoozing in the rear. Once the unidentified groom realized the terrible mistake, he called police, who found the bride. She had been patiently waiting for her partner to return.
