A river procession for Brazil's patron saint turns tragic after a boat capsizes on the Amazon River, leaving at least 12 dead.
(SOUNDBITE) (Portuguese) UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE SURVIVOR, SAYING:
"It happened really fast and out of nowhere. The boat turned over with us in it. There were many people, children and elderly."
The deadly accident happened off the coast of Macapa in the northern state of Amapa.
Six passengers are still missing.
Rescue workers and local media reported that the boat had a capacity for 40 people but was carrying around 70.
