In a recent bizarre incident, a man on a San Fracisco train whipped out a .45-caliber pistol on the crowded public vehicle and pointed it at passengers. Instead of screaming or panicked cries, the reaction was silence, because the majority of people on the train were completely engrossed in their smartphones and tablets.

The armed suspect reportedly pointed the gun across the aisle before tucking it to his side and drawing it out several more times. He even wiped his nose with the hand holding the pistol but no passengers made a move. People only looked up when the man fired a shot into the back of a student.

The suspect was able to get off the train, but the victim was killed. Luckily the shooter was arrested thanks to surveillance cameras on the train.

Prosecutors believe the crime was completely random and the man was out in public for the sole intention of finding an innocent person to murder.

Also disturbing is the fact that nobody was aware of the danger despite the numerous warning signs.
