Social is global. Yet, social is local. Although the whole world is connected and communicates across countless channels and platforms, every culture speaks their own language and moves in their own circles. For recruiting top talent, we are used to monster, Xing, LinkedIn, Twitter and all that. Right, but that mostly accounts for Western societies. Even across Europe, platforms and recruiting practices differ enormously. Then, what about Asia or Latin America? These countries may well have other preferences, too. Some of these countries are cut off the mainstream channels due to political interventions.
