Bambi Home Video Commercial 1989

A TV spot for Bambi's video release in 1989, following a successful theatrical re-release a year before. Although the video release had a promotion in association with Crest Toothpaste, the tape itself did not have commercials (aside from a special promo of The Little Mermaid made for the video before the film starts), just like how The Wizard of Oz's 50th anniversary video had a commercial for Downy detergent, because management had some goofy decision saying that type of promotion "is not appropriate." However to gain some promotion for this Holiday season event from Walt Disney Home Video, some of the Disney "Classics" that remained in print on VHS (Dumbo, Disney's Alice in Wonderland, and The Sword in the Stone) received new covers which most 1990s kids are familiar with than the original video covers.
