UFC Welterweight (170lbs) Champion and one of the pound for pound best fighters in the world, Goerges "Rush" St-Pierre is a true legend in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. The French Canadian fighter has defeated the who's who of the welterweight division; Carlos Condit, Jake Shields, Josh Koscheck (who he coached against in The Ultimate Fighter Season 12), Dan Hardy, Thiago Alves, BJ Penn (at that time the Lightweight 155lbs Champion), Jon Fitch, Sean Sherk, Frank Trigg, Jason Miller, Karo Parisyan and most currently Strikeforce Champion Nick Diaz. Georges only has two losses on his record, to former champions Matt Hughes and Matt Serra, and has redeemed both losses in devastating fashion. GSP is currently running an 11 fight winning streak and hasn't been defeated since 2007. He is now set to face knockout artist Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 with a possible super-fight against Middleweight (185lbs) Champion Anderson "The Spider Silva" Silva still looming in the distance as well as the fight fans high hopes. Although Georges' background is in the art of Karate, he has become one of the most talented wrestlers in all of MMA. GSP recently travelled to Thailand with his entourage including his long term Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach BJJ black belt John Danaher. Georges is known for training each martial art individually with some of the greatest coaches in the world, including Freddie Roach for his boxing. While in Thailand GSP visited his long term Muay Thai trainer Master Yod who has travelled to Canada to be a part of Georges fight camp for his last two bouts. Georges visited and trained with Master Yod at the famous Tiger Muay Thai gym in Phuket as well as visiting his good friend, MMA star Roger "El Matador" Huerta.
