5. Xenophanes: The Original Skeptic

Named the "Feuerbach of Ancient Greece" Xenophanes publicly challenged the religions, conventions, and traditions of his period. He encouraged all to believe that God was one and argued the case for pantheism. His influence on the Eleatic school will be discussed in the next episode.
