FOCUS - Gibraltar dispute rocks UK-Spain relations

The British enclave of Gibraltar, a tiny peninsula jutting out of the Spanish coast, is once again at the heart of a dispute between London and Madrid. The disagreement centres mainly on fishing rights for Spanish locals and border checks for Gibraltans crossing into Spain. Yet economic inequalities loom in the background. Gibraltar's economy grew by eight percent last year, while Spanish GDP shrank by almost the same proportion.
