Ivory seized at Bangkok Airport

Thai officials have seized ivory worth more than half a million US dollars at Bangkok airport. Beads and elephant tusks weighing over a hundred kilograms were discovered in the luggage of two Vietnamese suspects. They have been charged with smuggling prohibited items, and face up to four years in jail.
