WHITE RIVER COTTAGES
White River Cottages are restored stone buildings in the valley of Aspros Potamos, Makrigialos, Southeast Crete, Greece, operating since 1991, as Holiday Houses.
In the past the houses were used as a shelter by the olive farmers from the village Pefki and became abandoned about 80 years ago.
The cottages nestle on the hillside a midst olive groves, carob and pine trees. By stone paths and steps the cottages are connected.
