A house fire in Grove City, Pennsylvania took the lives of two people. Sadly, 28-year-old Brandon Fortuna and his 43-year-old sister Kirsten Fellows were discovered in the rubble. However, an unlikely survivor emerged four days after the bodies were found.

A Chihuahua was safely located. The tiny dog was said to be in good condition despite the horrible circumstances.

The canine named Sissy reportedly belonged to Fellows. Her fiancé stated “It's like a piece of her was coming back to me. Because Kirsten was so close to her. You know, she loved that dog with all her heart.”

Sissy was found in a fully zipped backpack. Although it has not been officially released how the dog got in there, Fellows’ fiancé believes she contained him in the bag and threw it out a second story window in order to save the female pooch’s life.

Prior to discovering Sissy, Fellows’ obituary claimed she died alongside her beloved pooch, serving as a true testament to the bond the pair shared.
