German Shepherd Survives Train Collision with Dog Wheelchair

Monty was fitted at K-9Cart.com with a custom dog wheelchair. Monty was hit by a passenger train in NJ shortly before Christmas 2008. In addition to damaging his spine, which has left him paralyzed, Monty fractured his skull and had both hookworms and heartworm. He was lucky to have many people come to the rescue. He had a borrowed wheelchair from another cart company, but chose a K-9Cart.com dog wheelchair because he goes several miles a day and needed something sturdier. As a matter of fact, he ran down the street before we could even get our video camera out in the heat of August.
