Nature Does Not Hurry, Yet Everything Is Accomplished - Beau Soir by Debussy

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

What inspired me to create this video montage was the music, Debussy is one of my favorite composer, and the arrangement for cello and piano of the song "Beau Soir" is superb. The music is always the drive for me in my creations. The scenes with the bat come from "The Beauty of Pollination" by Louie Schwartzberg, and I mixed those with various timelapse shots. I wanted to show the contrast between nature and man's ever so busy life.

Music by Claude Achille Debussy (1862-1918)
"Beau Soir" (French for "Beautiful Evening") is a setting of a poem by Paul Bourget.

English translation
When streams turn pink in the setting sun,
And a slight shudder rushes through the wheat fields,
A plea for happiness seems to rise out of all things
And it climbs up towards the troubled heart.
A plea to relish the charm of life
While there is youth and the evening is fair,
For we pass away, as the wave passes:
The wave to the sea, we to the grave.
