Flag of the Algerian separatist faction, Polisario Front, the Africa' Last Calumny

This is the flag of the Algerian Marxist-Leninist military separatist faction, Polisario Front, claiming separatism in the Western Sahara Territory. This military faction is taking place near Tindouf south Algeria. In 1976, Polisario Front leaders autoproclamed, with the help of Lybia and Algeria a republic without any symbol of sovereignty. In a context of cold war and tension in Africa, this republic was admitted into the African Union (new name) against the AU charter in 1984. Actually, after withdrawing recognition of this republic by more than 35 african countries, many african voices are claiming the return of Morocco to his initial seat in the AU and downgrade the status of the Algerian Polisario Front republic into a separatist movement/observer. FYI, Morocco is one of the founders of the African Union Organization in the 60' (former name of AU).
As you will notice, the flag reminds the palestinian flag. Algeria tried without great success to make the arab world confused about the 2 issues as if the Western Sahara Territory issue is about decolonization while it's just about separatism claimed by old Moroccan dissidents who were born in Morocco before getting in the Algerian side.
