No, I'm not a hippie-caveman, quite the contrary - +/- IT engineer by trade, and I like it personally too. But constantly "addicting" yourself to gadgets, or on more basic level - electricity (you need electricity to read books, you need electricity to "talk" to friends, etc.), scares me a lot.
