Roman Polanski returns to Cannes with a film in contention for the Palme d'Or and a documentary about a sporting legend.
The film, 'La Venus a la Fourrure' tells the story of a feisty actress with her eyes on the lead role in a Paris theatrical production and stars Polanski's wife Emmanuelle Seigner.
'Weekend of a Champion' is a different animal -- the 1970 documentary is about Polanski's long-time friend and former Formula One driver Jackie Stewart.
The filmmaker said he had forgotten about the film's existence until a recent call from a processing lab holding the footage prompted him to look at it again.
