Cedar Stars Academy (#1 USA) vs. Real New Jersey Arsenal (#7 USA) U12 Boys Spring NJ Cup Finals. Cedar Stars Academy wins the state cup 3-0 in this near full 1st half video and 2nd half highlights video at Mercer County Park, NJ. The grass is thick enough to stop the ball dead and the wind is blowing a constant 25mph+. The Cedar Stars U11 Boys also win the state cup the same day.

Cedar Stars U12 Boys establish their position atop NJ and move ahead of regional rivals Baltimore Bays (now Celtic) in national rankings as well as Chivas USA (ex Barcelona USA) U12 Boys. In reality, Cedar Stars has yet to defeat their regional rivals and, as the following video at the recent international MIC Cup tournament against the actual FC Barcelona Academy shows, the ex Barcelona USA team is light-years ahead of others (truly WORLD CLASS) despite a #3 gotsoccer national ranking. Judge for yourself. Cedar Stars is a young academy that has done exceptionally well, but I think they still lack the transformative coaching philosophy developed at the Chivas USA (ex Barcelona USA) team. Who knows? Perhaps today NJ...tomorrow world class!
