Is it good karma to be named Shaman from birthtime? Anyway, I became open to traditionnal music quite early and got initiated to many grooves by practicing percussions eagerly.
In the 90's, I met masters in Sénégal, Cuba, Morocco, India...
I studied a while musicology at Paris 8 Uni.
Then, I recorded and filmed musicians live in their daily setting and provoked also musical meetings of different traditions.
I also play odds rythms in a balkanic band called "Triba".
Now I m working on a project of a serie about musicotherapy and the power of sound.
