John Carter and Salomao Hamzter are two halves of the whole that is Hamzter. A British pop duo who tosses in a Latin flavour with a combination of English and Portuguese lyrics based on their acoustic charm.

Collaborating equally just about every step of the way, the men of Hamzter not only share writing duties on their albums, but also guitar, ukulele, bass, and keyboard. They share their music with one another just as much as they share the stage due to their admiration of one another. Which has always been the case.

When they first met in 2012, they applauded one another’s talents. They knew soon enough they had to play together. After years of work, they dropped their debut album together in 2016. "Friend in Need" was just the beginning. Now they are on pace to drop an album every year.
While they are a dynamic duo together, they each come with an impressive background. John has years of experience writing dozens of hit songs and been in a multitude of bands including; The Ivy League, Carter Lewis and Southerners, Flowerpot Men, Kincade and The First Class.
Salomao also has a musical past. He has played classical music in orchestras and gospel bands in his native country of Brazil.

British pop with a twist, Hamzter is the type of music fan who likes to take risks when they listen. They are for people looking for that unique sound. Who are tired of the same song on the radio.
