Issues to discuss: Nature and scope of rights in the digital environment. Exclusive rights versus remuneration rights. European norms and the international WIPO treaties. Mandatory collective management of rights versus voluntary management in the digital environment. Compatibility of compulsory collective management of rights with the “Acquis communautaire” and international legal framework.
