On the eve of the Olympic Games’ opening in Beijing, the association Bridge Initiative International announces the public launch of O-Change (Olympiads for Change).
Avec O-Change, écrit Patrice Barrat, concepteur de la démarche et délégué général de Bridge Initiative, il s’agit de:
- Repenser le monde à partir de la Déclaration Universelle des Droits de l’Homme, dans un processus ouvert, jeune et populaire, une coo-pétition ludique, éducative, festive et participative autour de chacun de ses Articles.
- Un tremplin pour un espace politique nouveau entre les acteurs de la mondialisation dans leur diversité. Un toît commun pour rassembler les initiatives sans abri véritable ou suffisant. Une plateforme virtuelle - une construction réelle."

- Rethink the world on the basis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in an open, young, popular process, a playful, educational, festive, participative coopetition based on each of the Articles.
- Generate a feeling of global citizenship respecting local diversity. Provide a spring-board for a new political space between the actors of globalisation in all their diversity. Bring all the disparate initiatives together under one roof. A virtual platform – a real construction.
