No Handed Music

With a name inspired by his love for BMX tricks, Mr No Hands has rapidly crafted a canny reputation. The 24 year old musician, DJ and animation artist has now released twelve singles on his label, No Handed Music, with each track accompanied by one of his unique animated videos, leading to interviews across the music press, featured artist slots on Myspace and appearances at festivals such as Global Gathering and Glade.

Mr No Hands has picked up an army of fans who regularly look forward to his animated musical capers, which have grown from being crafted in a modernist lofi Lowry style (without the bad weather and the drab colours), to mixed media and cutting-edge 3D animation. Alongside his own regular page in Mixmag, Mr No Hands was also appointed as one of the judges on their competition to find the best clubbing filmmakers which saw the magazine join forces with the British Film Institutes cutting edge Bug music video event.

Mr No Hands mighty collaboration with the Bassbin Twins, 'Adrenaline Ltd', was awarded 'Tune of the Month' in DJ Magazine and Mixmag rated his electrophonic smash 'Hit N Hope', the same. Many of his full stereo productions were all constructed in his bedroom using one speaker due to a sincere lack of finance. Now, though he’s not exactly high rolling, he’s at last using two. His releases have picked up plays from the likes of Ali B, The Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Cut La Roc, Crystal Method and The Plump DJs who heavily supported the edit Mr No Hands did of their own System Addict track.

As a DJ, Mr No Hands has been regularly wowing crowds through his residency at Ali B’s Air night, held monthly in Londons Matter alongside fellow residents Janette Slack, Lazersonic and Diverted. He is also regularly in demand at events throughout the UK and abroad. 2009 is set to be another big year with plans for Mr No Hands debut artist album in the making.
