NHS Choices is a comprehensive information service that aims to put you in control of your healthcare.
Since the integration of the online arm of NHS Direct in October 2008, NHS Choices provides a single public "front door" to all NHS online services and information through the country’s biggest health website.
Find in depth information and advice on many health related topics such as alcohol, allergies, drugs, fitness, diet, weight loss, mental health, pregnancy, sexual health and smoking. Includes an A to Z directory of both minor and major conditions and illnesses such as asthma, back pain, cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
There is also information on finding NHS services such as A&E, dentists, GPs, hospitals, opticians, pharmacies and walk in centres.
