Monkey Skull

Monkey Skull is an experimental band from Manipal, India. The band came together with the idea of making music that we could connect to better than the mainstream sound you hear all around you. Our approach towards making music involves inspiration and influence from a varied range of things we see and hear around us and how we can shape a sonic environment around the listener with the same. We have been performing at various local venues and competitions and have played alongside other Indian bands like Eccentric Pendulum, Limit Zero, Phlegmatic, etc and have recently opened for Norwegian Metal band Torch. We believe in making music more than just playing music that another artist has created and have tried our best to play as much of our own music as possible.
We are currently working on an EP slated for release early in 2012.
