Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai, Kiyamakan
@kiyamakan
The Kiyamakan was founded in 2012 as the United States East Coast Hombu dojo for the Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai. We are a small group of practitioners dedicated to the practice, teaching and preservation of Daito-ryu - an authentic, classical, 1,200 year old Japanese martial art.
Our dojo is the namesake of Hayawo Kiyama Shihan - the President and Chief Instructor of the Kodokai in the United States. We have been honored to host Kiyama Shihan on multiple occasions in the past and look forward to doing so again in the future. We strive to emulate the example set by Shihan in his 70+ years of training.
