Haroon Mahmood Bio:-
Haroon Mahmood, 36 is active in his industry from more than a decade. In this journey so far he has not only acquired valuable work experience but also faith of the co-workers. He is now the voice of labor union and fights for their right. Despite the fact that textile industry of Bangladesh is rapidly booming owners and management is still not interested to invest on safety and comfort of labors. Haroon Mahmood has convinced the management of his firm to spend generously on safety aspects and make the factory a safe place to work.
The oratory and negotiation skills of Haroon Mahmood are very impressive. He assertively keeps the viewpoints of workers before the top level management; they know that neglecting his concerns would only be a loss for company. Haroon has never worked for any personal benefit; he aims to bring betterment in the life of co-workers and labors. In last few days, some horrendous accidents have rocked Bangladeshi textile industry. The causalities and suffering of survivors was really very appalling; learning lessons from such accidents the apparel factory of Haroon has agreed to install necessary safety measures.
Though Haroon Mahmood is a devoted Muslim, he has embraced modern culture. He along with his wife enjoys shopping on weekends. His two elder daughters study in English medium school. Haroon is very interested in internet and social media networking. In the leisure time, he is busy on social networking sites. These social networking sites are used by him to communicate with the workers of other apparel factories. He loves to watch western movies with the family. His father worked as a farmer but after undergoing extreme hardships he choose not to have same fate for his child and enrolled Haroon in university of Dhaka. Haroon Mahmood is very religious and kind hearted that is reflected by his character.
