In the 10 years François Bourru worked as a fashion stylist between New York & Paris, he had the privilege of working with some High profile magazines and advertising campaigns with such reknown photographers as Steven Meisel, Albert Watson, Tiziano Magni, Serge Guérand, Jean François Jonvelle or Vitor Amati,…

Becoming more & more involved in art direction around 1995, he surrounded himself with the hands on technique of photography.

François Bourru specializes in portraits (actors, musicians, writers…), lifestyle day & night reportage internationally and events, as well as a continuous artwork combining movement and photography.

From 1995 to 2010, his parallel activities in film as co-director & art director for features and advertising between France and Brasil reinforced his ‘Savoir Faire’ in the conceptual audio-visual process.

Since 2010, he has co-directed & photographed over 50 corporate films in Paris for such clients as La Poste, Copin jewelery, Dumez / Vivendi, several fashion designers, and over 20 music video clips.

His approach to film & photo documentaries has been completed with recent trips to Thailand, Kenya, Croatia.
