Elisabet Avramidou Granlund born 29 July 1990 better known by the stage name Elli Avram, is a Swedish Greek actress and is now based in Mumbai, India. She appeared in the Hindi film Mickey Virus and participated in the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss
At 17, Avram became a member of Sundbyberg, Stockholm based Pardesi Dance Group and gave dance performances, primarily on Bollywood songs.
Avram has done some acting projects in Sweden, including 2008 crime drama romance movie, Förbjuden Frukt, where she played the role of Selen - the lead character's teen girlfriend. The movie is set against the backdrop of violent crime, where she falls in love with a boy with a criminal past.
In 2010, Avram participated in Miss Greece beauty contest. She also appeared on the Swedish TV series Gomorron Sverige. She has acted in an Iranian music video, Hala chi shod, by Emad featuring SB Shaggy.
In July 2012, Avram moved to Mumbai on a tourist visa to pursue an acting career in Bollywood. She signed up with a modeling agency and got a work visa. The first considerable project she managed to get was a TV commercial for Eveready Industries India. Avram has also acted in a TV commercial for Ricchezza Silver Jewellery, produced by TryAngles studio.
She got her first major breakthrough by bagging a lead role in Saurabh Varma's comedy thriller film Mickey Virus although she didn't speak any Hindi. Before her Bollywood launch, Avram took formal training in dance form and Hindi pronunciation. n Mickey Virus she plays the role of Kamayani George,. The film, shot in Delhi, released on October 25, 2013.
