In 2005, Doody & Kami met during a singing class and developed their friendship. Having a lot in common, they worked on different projects: first single, Ça ne va pas in 2009, second single Waka Waka Africa in 2010 who got classified in the 89th position on iTunes Canada, just a few months after it was launched, she also sang on Doody's first album, Chaleur des îles, released in 2011.
Since 2006, they played in various venues and festivals in Canada where they make crowds dance with passion. Their adventure took them to even perform a duet with the legendary group La Compagnie Creole in 2010. Because of their perseverance, they received great exposure from the media and radio stations.
In 2012, they decided to mount a joint project by combining their strength with Dance Plant Records. To face the great challenges of the music industry, they want to push their limits. It is a handshake between The Groove and The Voice. From that, a partnership was born with their most recent single "Loco Loco". Doody & Kami, are finally a blend, a journey, Dance music with influences from the Caribbean, Latin America and Africa. Let the party begin!
