Marie ROQUETA

Marie Roqueta was born in Perpignan in 1984, where She began her flute studies.

She got approved at the Superior National Music Conservatory of Paris at 17 years old. Her teachers were Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas. She perfects with Frédéric Châtoux, and obtains its diploma of superior formation of chamber music in duet flute and harp with the harpist Sarah Verrue, in the class of Philippe Bernold.

In order to enrich her musical evolution, she joined to the High School of Music in Geneva, where she worked with Jacques Zoon.

To perfect her approach of the baroque directory she went in Germany where she was received to the Institute für Alte Musik (UdK Berlin). She has been working on it with Christoph Hungeburth ( traverso ).

During all those years of study, Marie Roqueta performed with several prestigious orchestras and she was awarded in several international competitions.
